Rosie Meader: Vocals, Bass, Guitar, Songwriter

Rosie was born in Amsterdam in 2001 and has been singing and performing in the family band since she was 4 years old. Her first performance was a benefit gig for the 2004 Tsunami disaster in the school yard of an Amsterdam primary school. Upon returning to Australia in 2013 Rosie was accepted into the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts and in 2014 toured China with a combined arts ensemble. While at NHSPA she held the bass chair in the NHSPA Jazz Orchestra, the guitar ensemble and sang in the senior choir. In 2017 Rosie was the bass player in the Schools Spectacular Stage Band. Rosie is a graduate of the 2019 Talent Development Project.

 

Joshua Meader: Guitar, Soloist

Joshua was born in Amsterdam in 1996 and began the guitar at the age of 7. Upon returning to Australia he was accepted into the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts. In 2013 he toured China in the NHSPA Stage Band and held the guitar chair in the Jazz Orchestra for 6 years. He was a "featured soloist" at the NSW School Spectacular for all but one of his high school years and held the guitar chair with the Arts Unit Stage band and Jazz Orchestra also for 6 years. He has performed at the Sydney Opera House, Entertainment Centre, Manly Jazz Festival, Sydney Town Hall and a one off performance at Government House for HRH Prince Charles. Joshua graduated from the NSW Talent Development Program in 2015 and is now in his 4th year at the Sydney Conservatorium Of Music studying Jazz performance. Joshua also plays with his father Paul in a jazz guitar duo called “Father and Son”.

Paul Meader: Guitar, Double bass, Backing Vocals, Songwriter and Producer

Paul has been a professional musician for over 40 years. He lived an worked as a professional jazz musician in Europe for 18 years and has toured in the USA, Canada, Europe, Scandinavia and Japan. As a songwriter in 2000 he had two songs placed in the Hollywood movie staring Richard Gere called “Autumn In New York”.
